Thats my sister's home. I reached New York safely yesterday. At Atlanta Airport, I had a four hour lay-over. As I went thru immigrations and Passport Control and came to the Baggage-Claim, it was such a long and lonely walk. The place seemed so deserted, like a sci-fi flick, and finally at the frozen carousels I picked my baggage and half expected some robot to pop up from somewhere and give me directions in a mechanical voice.

The plane, after landing at New York was in the tarmac for 45 mins! My sister and niece received me at the airport. We went to a library, picked books and DVDs. All this while my bladder was full and I was clueless and looless! Finally, I only relieved myself when I reached home. Boy! I have never seen anyone gladder, than the person who just relieved his bladder!

At night, after dinner I sat on my bed. My sis and niece joined in watching a DVD, in which I dozed three times, before I finally told them that if I doze off dont wake me up. Morning I woke up at 7.30 am (I normally wake up at around 6.30 pm). Fortunately, no effects of a jet-lag.

I have been out the whole day shopping with my sis. Planning to cook some exotic fare tomorrow -- smoked salmon laced with a honeyed spice sauce, sauteed cole-slaw garnished with white sauce and for dessert, almond payasam with almond flakes. Should be sufficient, ain't it?

Cursed be he who has not tasted the after-effects of your culinary skill.....mind blowing. But why go for exotic fare? You have your way with mundane dishes like sambar & rasaam too.
So....what are we waiting for.....hojaye? Jay Ho!!!!!
